DESCRIPTION:– English version below – \nDeutsche Erinnerungsorte.\nZwischen Religion und Nation\nInternationale ökumenische Studienfahrt nach Thüringen\nDas International Office und die Bayreuther Hochschulgemeinden (ESG\nund KHG) laden am ersten Adventswochenende (30.11./1.12.) zu einer Studienfahrt nach Thüringen ein.\nVon den mittelalterlichen Armutsbewegungen (Elisabeth von Thüringen) über die Reformation (Martin Luther) bis hin zum Wartburgfest (Beginn der deutschen nationalrepublikanischen Studentenbewegung) kristallisiert sich deutsche Geschichte in den Mauern der Wartburg bei Eisenach (Thüringen). Dort beginnt unsere Studienführung in das Herz der deutschen Geschichte. \nDem „deutschen Gemüt“ spüren wir dann abends nach auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt in Erfurt. Im Rahmen einer Stadtführung durch die pittoreske Erfurter Altstadt erleben wir dort am nächsten Tag Orte der Reformation\, des\njüdischen Lebens und der mittelalterlichen Mystik. Am Nachmittag sind wahlweise tiefere Einblicke in die jüdische Vergangenheit (Synagoge) oder in die Zeit der DDR-Diktatur (ehem. Stasi-Gefängnis Andreasstraße) möglich. \nBeginn: Freitag\, 30. That‘s where we‘ll start our field excursion into the heart\nof German history.\nIn the evening\, we‘ll trace the German „Gemüt“ (emotional mood) at the Erfurt\nChristmas market. The next morning\, we‘ll have a guided tour through the\npicturesque town of Erfurt showing us important sites of Reformation time\, Jewish\nlife and medieval mysticism.
