SUMMARY:Internationaler Nikolausabend – International St. Nicholas Festival
DESCRIPTION:Weihnachten steht vor der Tür! Zum Auftakt der besinnlichen Zeit wollen wir gemeinsam mit euch den Nikolausabend feiern. \nDazu treffen wir uns am Donnerstag\, den 6. Dezember um 19:00 Uhr in der KHG. Es wird typisch deutsches Weihnachtsgebäck und Glühwein geben\, dabei werden wir uns mit dem Thema Weihnachten beschäftigen. Außerdem werden wir auch noch ein großes Wichteln (Erklärung siehe unten) veranstalten. Toll wäre\, wenn ihr etwas typisches aus eurem Heimatland mitbringen würdet\, beispielsweise Weihnachtsplätzchen. \nDer Eintritt zu diesem Event ist frei! \nWir freuen uns auf einen geselligen und besinnlichen Abend mit euch!\nEure KHG und Euer ISN Bayreuth -Team \n\n“Wichteln” ist eine in vielen Ländern bekannte\, in Deutschland jedoch besonders beliebte Weihnachtstradition. Dabei werden Geschenke verteilt – aber Achtung\, die Verteilung erfolgt anonym und zufällig! Ablauf: Jeder der teilnehmen möchte\, bringt ein kleines Geschenk mit. Der Preis dieses Geschenkes sollte sich auf ca. 5 € belaufen. Bitte bringt das Geschenk verpackt mit. Wenn ihr in die KHG kommt\, gebt ihr Euer Geschenk ab\, das daraufhin in einem großen Geschenkesack verschwindet\, und bekommt dafür eine Nummer. Während der Nikolaus-Party wird es kurze Pausen geben\, in denen eure Nummern aufgerufen werden. Wenn ihr Eure Nummer hört\, dürft ihr euer Geschenk abholen. \nDer Eintritt zu diesem Event ist frei! \nWir freuen uns auf einen geselligen und besinnlichen Abend mit euch!\nEure KHG und Euer ISN Bayreuth -Team \n  \n\nWinter has begun and Christmas is just around the corner. Therefore\, we want to celebrate the St Nicholas Festival with you! \nThe event will be Thursday\, 6th December\, 7 p.m. at the KHG. ISN will provide some traditional German Christmas cookies and typical “Glühwein” (mulled wine). Moreover\, we will introduce you the Christmas tradition in Germany and organize the German Christmas practice: “Wichteln” (Secret Santa – see below). It’ll be great if you bring something traditional for Christmas from your home country as well\, maybe some christmas cookies as well. \nEntry is free! \nWe are looking forward to a great event with you!\nYour KHG and ISN Bayreuth Team \n“Wichteln“ (eng.: Secret Santa) is a German christmas tradition. Some of you may know it because it’s not only a German tradition. Presents are anonymously and randomly assigned to people in a group. Procedure: Everyone who likes to participate buys a small present. The value of that present shall be approximately 5 €. The present shall be wrapped in gift paper or else. When you arrive at the KHG you will hand your present in a big gift bag along with the other presents. Also you will pick a number. Throughout the whole Nikolaus-party there we will be short breaks in which the presents will be drawn by the numbers you picked at the beginning. \n
