DESCRIPTION:Ein Abend mit dem Fotografen und Kriegsberichterstatter Till Mayer. \nMenschen in Luftschutzbunkern\, Soldat*innen an der Front\, Kriegsverletzungen\, Leichen und Trümmer\, Trauer und Verzweiflung; aber auch Leben\, die trotzdem weitergehen\, Zusammenhalt\, Hoffnung und Mut: Der Fotograf Till Mayer hat alles gesehen. Seit mehreren Jahren reist er regelmäßig in die Ukraine\, um aus dem Kriegsgebiet zu berichten. Seine Bilder erzählen nicht von großer Politik\, sondern von persönlichen Schicksalen und von Menschen\, die mitten im Krieg ihre einzigartige Würde bewahren. \nKurz nach der Rückkehr von seiner jüngsten Recherchereise wird er von der aktuellen Situation in der Ukraine berichten und uns in seinen Bildern am Leben der Menschen vor Ort teilhaben lassen. \nAls Rahmenprogramm werden ukrainische Frauen Lieder aus ihrer Heimat singen\, auf der Bandura (einem traditionellen Saiteninstrument) spielen und auch etwas Leckeres kochen. \nDer Eintritt ist frei\, Spenden für Hilfsprojekte in der Ukraine sind willkommen! \n\nAn evening with the photographer and war correspondent Till Mayer. \nPeople in air-raid shelters\, soldiers at the front\, war wounds\, corpses and rubble\, grief and despair; but also lives that nevertheless go on\, cohesion\, hope and courage: photographer Till Mayer has seen it all. For several years\, he has been traveling regularly to Ukraine to report from the war zone. His pictures do not tell of big politics\, but of personal fates and of people who retain their unique dignity in the midst of war. \nShortly after returning from his latest research trip\, he will report on the current situation in Ukraine and let us participate in the lives of the local people through his pictures. \nAs a supporting programme\, Ukrainian women will sing songs from their homeland\, play the bandura (a traditional stringed instrument) and also cook something delicious. \nAdmission is free\, donations for aid projects in Ukraine are welcome!
