DESCRIPTION:– English version below – \nWenige Reizthemen erhitzten in den letzten Jahren so sehr die Gemüter wie gendergerechte Sprache. Während die einen darin einen Raubbau an der deutschen Sprache sehen\, halten andere sie für unbedingt notwendig\, um eine echte Gleichberechtigung der Geschlechter zu erreichen. In einer kontroversen Podiumsdiskussion wollen wir verschiedene Standpunkte zum Thema hören und „sine ira et studio“ miteinander darüber ins Gespräch kommen\, inwiefern gendergerechte Sprache zu einer Gleichberechtigung der Geschlechter beitragen kann. \nVier spannende Referent:innen werden an diesem Abend gemeinsam mit uns diskutieren: \n– Frau Prof. Dr. Karin Birkner\, Inhaberin des Lehrstuhls für Germanistische Linguistik an der Universität Bayreuth\, stellvertretende Frauenbeauftragte\, stellvertretende Vorsitzende der Gesellschaft für angewandte Linguistik; sie sagt: „Sprache ist Werkzeug und Abbild zugleich\, sie sedimentiert Vergangenes (System) und passt sich Neuem an (Gebrauch). Sprache prägt die Sicht der Welt und die Sicht der Welt prägt die Sprache!“ \n– Frau Prof. Dr. Lisa von Stockhausen\, Inhaberin des Lehrstuhls für Allgemeine Psychologie I: Sprache und Kognition an der Universität Duisburg-Essen\, beschäftigt sich intensiv damit\, wie Sprache unser Denken beeinflusst und verändern kann. \n– Herr Dr. Eberhard Schmidt\, Regionalleiter für Oberfranken des Vereins Deutsche Sprache\, sagt: „Die sogenannte ‚gendersensible‘ oder ‚gendergerechte‘ Sprache soll mit untauglichen Mitteln ein vorgebliches Problem lösen\, das es gar nicht gibt. Die Sprache wird verunstaltet\, verkompliziert und kaum noch vorlesbar. Dafür schafft die Abschaffung des generischen Maskulinums ein neues Problem. Die moralische Aufladung des ganzen Themas und das offensichtlich dahintersteckende geplante und abgestimmte Vorgehen müssen Ablehnung und Protest hervorrufen.“ \n– Frau Yixin Qiu wird darüber hinausgehend eine Außenperspektive bieten und erörtern\, wie sich Geschlechterungleichheit in der chinesischen Sprache ausdrückt. \nDie Veranstaltung findet online via Zoom statt. While some see it as an assault on the German language\, others consider it absolutely necessary in order to achieve true gender equality. In a controversial panel discussion\, we want to hear different points of view on the topic and discuss „sine ira et studio“ to what extent gender-equitable language can contribute to gender equality. \nFour exciting speakers will discuss the topic with us this evening: \n– Prof. Dr. Karin Birkner\, Chair of German Linguistics at the University of Bayreuth\, Deputy Women’s Representative\, Deputy Chair of the Society for Applied Linguistics; she says: „Language is both a tool and an image\, it sediments the past (system) and adapts to the new (use). DESCRIPTION:– English version below – \nDie Veranstaltung ist Teil der bundesweiten Veranstaltungsreihe „Wir müssen reden!“. \nVier Evangelien sind in unserem Neuen Testament enthalten. Wir wissen aber auch: In der Antike sind noch viel mehr Evangelienschriften entstanden – ebenso wie weitere Briefe und Apostelgeschichten. Wer legte fest\, was zur »Heiligen Schrift« wurde? Welche Gründe waren ausschlaggebend? Und was stand in den »verschwundenen Evangelien«? \nOnline-Gesprächsabend mit Prof. Dr. Sabine Bieberstein\, Fakultät für Religionspädagogik und Kirchliche Bildungsarbeit\, KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt \nDie Initiative „Wir müssen reden!“ lädt im Sommersemester 2021 zu einer digitalen Veranstaltungsreihe ein. Zahlreiche deutsche Hochschulgemeinden setzen sich hierbei in unterschiedlichen Formaten mit kirchenpolitischen Themen auseinander. Die Reihe ist eine Reaktion auf den Konflikt um das Positionspapier „Wir wollen glaubwürdig bleiben“\, verfasst von den hauptamtlichen Mitarbeiter:innen der KHG Köln. In dem Positionspapier hatten sich diese unter anderem gegen „eine Unantastbarkeit amtskirchlicher Deutungshoheit“\, „eine Engführung kirchlicher Sexualmoral“\, „eine religiöse Aufladung von Macht“ und „eine mangelnde Wahrnehmung gesellschaftlicher Verantwortung“ ausgesprochen. Die Veröffentlichung wurde jedoch durch das Erzbistum Köln untersagt. Der Konflikt eskalierte und ist bis heute nicht geklärt. Die Veranstaltungsreihe versteht sich als Ort des offenen Austausches über diese und andere Themen. Eingeladen sind alle Studierenden sowie Interessierten. \nKoop. But we also know that many more Gospel writings were written in ancient times – as well as other letters and Acts of the Apostles. Who determined what became „Holy Scripture“? What were the decisive reasons? And what was in the „disappeared gospels“? \nThe initiative „We need to talk!“ invites you to a digital event series in the summer semester of 2021. Numerous German university congregations will be addressing church-political topics in various formats. The series is a reaction to the conflict over the position paper „We want to remain credible\,“ written by the full-time employees of the KHG Cologne. In the position paper\, they had spoken out against\, among other things\, „an inviolability of official church sovereignty of interpretation\,“ „a narrowing of church sexual morals\,“ „a religious charging of power\,“ and „a lack of perception of social responsibility.“ However\, the publication was prohibited by the Archdiocese of Cologne. The conflict escalated and has not been resolved to this day. The series of events is intended as a place for open exchange on these and other topics. DESCRIPTION:– English version below – \nDa wir leider immer noch nicht als größere Gemeinschaft wandern dürfen\, werden wir unsere traditionelle Maiwanderung am kommenden Samstag\, 1. Mai\, wieder in Zweiergruppen durchführen und uns erst bei einer kurzen ökumenischen Andacht in der großen Runde treffen. Wir starten ab ca. 13.00 Uhr (zeitversetzt in Kleingruppen) und sind ca. zweieinhalb Stunden rund um Bayreuth unterwegs. Auf dem Weg wird es wieder kleine „Challenges“ zu meistern geben. \nUm die Planungen zu vereinfachen\, könnt Ihr euch ab sofort bis Samstag um 9:30 Uhr als Einzelperson oder Zweiergruppe (bzw. ein Haushalt plus eine Person) anmelden. Ihre Erzählungen und Weisungen sind keineswegs „vom Himmel gefallen“\, sondern das Ergebnis verschiedener kultureller Einflüsse und politischer Aushandlungsprozesse. Doch andererseits sprechen wir von der Bibel als dem „Wort Gottes“. Welche Rolle können diese alten Texte für unseren Glauben heute spielen? Wie gehen wir damit um\, wenn biblische Aussagen im Widerspruch zu unseren eigenen ethischen Grundsätzen stehen? Und wie begegnen wir Argumentationen\, in denen biblische Aussagen für bestimmte Standpunkte – z.B. zu Themen wie Antijudaismus\, Homosexualität\, Geschlechterrollen\, Flüchtlingsfrage etc. –instrumentalisiert und verabsolutiert werden? \nDr. Olaf Rölver hat im Fach Exegese des Neuen Testaments an der WWU Münster promoviert und lehrt heute am Institut für Katholische Theologie der Universität zu Köln. \nDie Veranstaltung ist der Auftakt der bundesweiten Veranstaltungsreihe „Wir müssen reden!“. \nDie Initiative „Wir müssen reden!“ lädt im Sommersemester 2021 zu einer digitalen Veranstaltungsreihe ein. Zahlreiche deutsche Hochschulgemeinden setzen sich hierbei in unterschiedlichen Formaten mit kirchenpolitischen Themen auseinander. Die Reihe ist eine Reaktion auf den Konflikt um das Positionspapier „Wir wollen glaubwürdig bleiben“\, verfasst von den hauptamtlichen Mitarbeiter:innen der KHG Köln. In dem Positionspapier hatten sich diese unter anderem gegen „eine Unantastbarkeit amtskirchlicher Deutungshoheit“\, „eine Engführung kirchlicher Sexualmoral“\, „eine religiöse Aufladung von Macht“ und „eine mangelnde Wahrnehmung gesellschaftlicher Verantwortung“ ausgesprochen. Die Veröffentlichung wurde jedoch durch das Erzbistum Köln untersagt. Der Konflikt eskalierte und ist bis heute nicht geklärt. Die Veranstaltungsreihe versteht sich als Ort des offenen Austausches über diese und andere Themen. Eingeladen sind alle Studierenden sowie Interessierten. \nKoop. How do we deal with it when biblical statements contradict our own ethical principles? And how do we counter arguments in which biblical statements are instrumentalised and absolutised for certain points of view – e.g. on topics such as anti-Judaism\, homosexuality\, gender roles\, the refugee question\, etc.? \nThe event is the kick-off of the nationwide event series „Wir müssen reden! \nThe initiative „We need to talk!“ invites you to a digital event series in the summer semester of 2021. Numerous German university congregations will be addressing church-political topics in various formats. The series is a reaction to the conflict over the position paper „We want to remain credible\,“ written by the full-time employees of the KHG Cologne. In the position paper\, they had spoken out against\, among other things\, „an inviolability of official church sovereignty of interpretation\,“ „a narrowing of church sexual morals\,“ „a religious charging of power\,“ and „a lack of perception of social responsibility.“ However\, the publication was prohibited by the Archdiocese of Cologne. DESCRIPTION:Wir treffen uns mittwochs um 12.30 Uhr zu einem spirituellen Impuls in der KHG-Kapelle\, natürlich unter Beachtung der aktuellen Hygieneregeln. Die anschließende Mittagssuppe muss leider bis auf weiteres entfallen. \nWe meet every Wednesday at 12.30 for a short spiritual impulse in the KHG chapel\, observing the current hygiene regulations\, of course. Unfortunately\, the subsequent lunch soup cannot take place at the moment.
